Intensive German A2 Course

Course Overview

The Intensive German A2 Course is a program designed for students who have completed the A1 level, focused on developing basic German knowledge. This course aims to provide students with language skills that will enable them to cope with more complex situations in daily life. The program, which offers an intensive learning experience with 25 lesson hours per week, lasts 8 weeks and consists of approximately 160 lesson hours.

Target Audience and Prerequisites

This course is suitable for students who have successfully completed the A1 level. The A2 course, built upon the basic knowledge acquired at A1 level, enables students to take their language skills to the next level. Anyone planning to live in Germany, wanting to use basic German in business life, or wanting to communicate more fluently can participate in this course.

Course Content and Learning Goals

At A2 level, students acquire language knowledge to cope with more complex situations in daily life. During the course, more advanced grammar structures such as past tense and future tense are taught. Students become able to share personal information, narrate past experiences, express their plans, and speak fluently on routine topics. Additionally, language structures necessary for topics such as shopping, travel, and health are taught.

Teaching Method and Classroom Environment

The course is conducted with a communication-focused approach. There are a maximum of 12 students in each class and each class has two teachers. This system allows focus on students' individual needs. Classes are enriched with real-life scenarios, dialogue exercises, reading and writing practices. Students not only learn grammar but also have the opportunity to use what they learn in practice.

Post-Course Progress

Students who successfully complete the A2 level earn the right to receive an A2 level certificate. This certificate shows that the student has basic level German knowledge. After the course, students can transition to B1 level and continue their German learning journey. The A2 level is an important milestone as it provides the ability to communicate independently in daily life.
