Intensive German A1 Course
Course Overview
The Intensive German A1 Course is a comprehensive program designed for those starting to learn German from scratch. This course is prepared in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards and aims to provide students with basic German language skills. The program, which offers an intensive learning experience with 25 lesson hours per week, lasts 8 weeks and consists of approximately 160 lesson hours.
Target Audience and Prerequisites
This course is ideal for students who have no German knowledge or very basic knowledge. It does not require any prerequisites and is completely designed for beginners. Students planning university education in Germany, professionals who want to use German in business life, or anyone who wants to learn German for personal development can participate in this course.
Course Content and Learning Goals
At A1 level, students acquire German knowledge to meet their most basic needs in daily life. During the course, basic grammar structures, commonly used words and expressions are taught. Students become able to introduce themselves, ask and answer simple questions, participate in daily conversations, and read and write simple texts. Additionally, language structures necessary for numbers, time expressions, directions, and basic social situations are taught.
Teaching Method and Classroom Environment
The course is conducted with a communication-focused approach. There are a maximum of 12 students in each class and each class has two teachers. This system allows for a focus on students' individual language development. Classes are enriched with interactive materials, role plays, group work, and practical exercises. Students are included in classes as active participants, not just passive listeners.
Post-Course Progress
Students who successfully complete the A1 level earn the right to receive an A1 level certificate. This certificate shows that the student has basic German knowledge. After the course, students can transition to the A2 level and continue their German learning journey. The A1 level is the foundation stone of learning German and creates a solid ground for subsequent levels.
